On May 15th, good news came from China Oil Logging: This company successfully completed the logging task of Well Qian Tan 1 in Dagang Oilfield for the first time by applying its self-developed 230 ° C /170 megapascals small-diameter logging series instruments, setting a new record for the highest operating temperature of 213 ° C for CPLog logging equipment. The explanation and evaluation materials as well as the oil test suggestions provided by it were adopted by Party A.
With the increasingly in-depth exploration and development of oil, deep and ultra-deep well logging requires logging instruments with smaller outer diameters and higher temperature and pressure resistance indicators. In 2021, China Oil Logging successfully developed the 230 ° C /170 mpa high-temperature and high-pressure CPLog logging series of instruments, including seven types of logging instrument prototypes such as remote gamma, wellbore continuous deviation, compensated neutron, lithological density, compensated acoustic wave, array induction, and array lateral. At present, the company is engaged in the research and development of instruments such as high-temperature and high-pressure small-diameter array acoustic waves and micro-resistivity imaging.
China Oil Logging has broken through four major technical bottlenecks: 'high-integration high-temperature resistant circuits based on MCM, high-temperature pressure-bearing mechanical structure and process, small-diameter exploration array detector structure, and complex wellbore environment correction and processing', solving problems such as adaptability to ultra-high temperature and high-pressure environments and environmental correction of inclined and horizontal Wells, and developing supporting acquisition and processing software modules, supporting tools and auxiliary measurement instruments. This series of instruments can identify the lithology of the formation, effectively divide the reservoir, accurately calculate parameters such as reservoir porosity, permeability and saturation, and meet the logging requirements of complex well conditions such as ultra-deep Wells, horizontal Wells and side drilling.
China Oil Logging has accelerated the transformation of scientific research achievements. It has completed logging tests in seven Wells including Well Lunshen 2 and Well Ren 91 in Tarim Oilfield, verifying the reliability and stability of the system and the adaptability of the wellbore to the geology. The acoustic lateral string instrument logging of Well Changshen 43 was completed in Jilin Oilfield, and the bottom hole temperature was 182 degrees Celsius. To meet the production demands of side drilling in Changqing Oilfield, petrochina Logging has developed a series of small-diameter logging instruments with a temperature of 175 ° C and a capacity of 140 megapascals. Currently, more than 20 sets have been promoted and applied.
At present, more than 40% of the remaining oil and gas resources in our country are distributed in strata more than 5,000 meters deep. The successful development and application of high-temperature, high-pressure and small-diameter instruments can significantly reduce the cost of equipment introduction, and have broad market space and sustainable application prospects.
