As of June 22nd, the scattered natural gas recovery business of Western Drilling and Oil Testing Company has expanded to the four major oil fields in the three major basins. Over the past two years, it has cumulatively recovered more than 30 million cubic meters of scattered natural gas, contributing to a carbon reduction of 57,800 tons.
Before the large-scale development of remote exploration Wells, there was no supporting pipeline transportation system, and the well gas produced could not enter the gathering and transportation network. Previously, due to the backward process equipment and the high cost of recovering fragmented natural gas, these well gases were ignored.
The Western Drilling and Oil Testing Company has deepened the project responsibility system, optimized resource allocation, and equipped its best personnel to conduct specialized research on the recovery of scattered natural gas. For the first time, it has attempted technical measures such as high-pressure separators, natural gas compressor pressurization, and desilters + high-pressure separators, achieving the goal of 'granular storage' of scattered natural gas.
Up to now, the oil testing company has successively built and put into operation five natural gas booster stations in the oil and gas fields of Xinjiang, Qinghai, Tarim and Tuha, with a daily recovery of over 300,000 cubic meters of loose gas. Among them, the Guole Pressurization Station in the Tarim Basin has cumulatively recovered 20 million cubic meters of natural gas. (China Petroleum News reporter Ma Hongxu, Correspondent Yang Yuan
